doTERRA Shampoo & Conditioner REVIEW.

For anyone who has Type 4C hair you know that once you find a product that works for your hair it’s rare that you stray away from it. I love ❤️ my Type 4C hair! I remember when I was little and got my first perm in 1991 (I know this b/c my mom wrote down all my big milestones) being somewhat upset about it. Don’t get me wrong, my hair came out straight, manageable for my mom and pretty but deep down inside I missed my kinky hair. I remember my mom saying to me that as long as she had to comb my hair it would be permed but when I learned how to properly care for my hair then I could do whatever I wanted to do with it. It wasn’t until 2010 when I decided to stop perming my hair and allow my hair to return back to its natural state. It wasn’t an easy journey and I’m still learning my hair but I wouldn’t change a thing!

I’ve been wanting for a long time now to change out my shampoo and conditioner to something more clean but there are not that many options out there. I’ve tried black soap and Castile soap on my hair but they robbed my hair of all of its moisture. I’ve been skipping over doTERRA Salon Essentials hair care line for a while now because, it didn’t claim to work on all hair types and I haven’t seen anyone who looks like me or who has a hair texture like mine promote the products so I assumed that it wasn’t made for people like me. Despite all of that, I braved it and decided to give it a try.

Is doTERRA hair care a pass or fail for my tightly coiled Type 4C hair? Check out my HONEST product review below to find out. I purchased these products with my own money and was not paid for this review.
