Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out this blog post. Since 2016, I have been slowly eliminating harmful ingredients, products and foods from my and my family’s life. It hasn’t been an easy journey but it sure has been a fun and rewarding one. A few of the first things that I eliminated was my deodorant and lotion. I’ve transitioned to a deodorant with only natural ingredients that I only use when needed (I promise my underarms don’t smell like a landfill 😆) and I’ve been using mostly Shea butter as a daily moisturizer. In 2019, I learned about mango butter and how it was such a great moisturizer so I decided to give it a try. I ❤️ IT! My skin and hair does too! Mango butter is great as a daily moisturizer, it’s not greasy, doesn’t have a distinctive smell and is great for people with sensitive skin.
In this video I’m making geranium mango body butter for my son. Lately he’s been having a few dry skin patches pop up (something he’s never had before) so I decided to make him this body butter that would help to clear those dry patches without having to use a steroid cream.
