Let’s talk about Melaleuca Essential Oil

Hey y’all! This month on my FB page I am highlighting all of the doTERRA essential oils sourced from the continent of Africa! Let’s get a little bit of Social Studies out of the way before I begin. #1 Africa is a CONTINENT and NOT a COUNTRY, #2 Africa is the second largest continent next to Asia, #3 Africa is the second most populous continent and #4 Everyone in Africa is not poor. Let’s not solely depend on the mainstream media to give us their view of things, let’s educate ourselves. I promise you, you’ll learn that a lot of things that you’ve watched on television and learned in school is totally false.

Okay, now that that’s out of the way let’s move on. Africa is a land of rich resources, and never ending beauty! Without Africa the rest of the world would be at a major deficit.

doTERRA essential oil company sources many of their oils from the continent of Africa. One of which we’ll talk about today, Melaleuca aka Tea Tree oil. In my opinion, I think that Melaleuca oil comes in at a close second of popular essential oils next to Lavender.

Melaleuca oil is best known for its purifying properties. It can be used for cleaning surfaces, topically for skin irritations and diffused for emotional balance. Amongst others, Melaleuca oil has antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral properties which makes this a great essential oil that can be used for a variety of reasons.
